Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is a martial art from Thailand. Muay Thai is known for its power, efficiency, and simplicity. It is called the “Art of Eight Limbs”, which utilizes an efficient system of kicks, knees, punches and elbows as well as clinching techniques.
Why Muay Thai Conditioning?
Muay Thai Conditioning Class starts with a Dynamic Warm-Up to prepare your body for the session, followed by Agility Ladder and/or hurdle drills. Afterwards you’ll either partner up or hit a heavy bag while practicing various Muay Thai combinations interspersed with bodyweight exercises to keep your heart rate elevated and also include hard & fast bag work for your Anaerobic zone.
A session can also consists of explosive drills like sprints, bounding, etc. and medicine ball drills. You’ll finish off with a cool down of various static stretches and yoga postures.
All in all, you’ll be burning calories, increasing your fitness level, sweating, smiling and having fun!!
